About digiPeeps
I got burned by the marketing "gurus." So I built the honest version.
For 25 years I worked in IT, engineering and training, across 30-plus mine sites, seven of them greenfield builds from bare dirt. Pit and plant. My job was keeping big, high-stakes systems running: integrating them, optimising production, tracking the real tonnage and the real dollars, and condition monitoring, reading a machine's own signals to catch a failure before it happens. Everything measured, to the tonne and to the dollar. Not guessing. Not luck. Real evidence, caught early, proven. And I taught it, I lectured proper engineering and IT certifications and business-college diplomas, courses with real standards behind them. By the end I was about as senior as you get in that world.
Then I tried to grow my own business, and I walked into an industry that runs on the exact opposite: guesswork sold as certainty, hype instead of evidence, and failure hidden instead of caught.
I did what a lot of small business owners do. I trusted the experts. I bought the courses, one of them cost me $7,000. And here's the thing: I've stood at the front of a classroom teaching accredited courses. I know what real training looks like. This wasn't it. I paid for the tools, I followed the "proven systems" from the names everyone knows, and I got nowhere. Months of it. Nothing to show but the invoices.
Here's what I worked out, the hard way. Most of this industry isn't built to grow your business. It's built to grow theirs:
- The free tool is bait. It funnels you into a $5,000-a-month retainer where you never see how the sausage is made, and the day you stop paying, your rankings, your data, your leads, all of it, walks out the door with them.
- The courses sell shortcuts, stuffing your Google listing with keywords, spinning up fake reviews, "rank and rent." Tricks that break Google's own rules. They might spike for a month. Then an update lands and your listing is suspended, and the guru's already sold you the next course.
- And the whole thing runs on hype, "200% traffic in 90 days", promises no honest person can make.
I'm an engineer. Hype offends me. I like things that are true, that you can measure, that you own, that last.
So that's what digiPeeps is
Marketing tools and methods for small businesses who are sick of being milked. The honest way:
- You own it. Your tools, your data, your rankings, your customer list, yours, on your side, forever. Free tools that stay free and grow into software you can host yourself. No lock-in. No hostage-taking.
- We show the working. Every number is real and you can check it. We'll tell you SEO takes months, because it does. No vanity metrics, no false urgency.
- We only do it the way that lasts. We follow Google's actual guidelines, so nothing we do can get your business penalised or suspended. Built to survive the next update, not to run from it.
I'm not here to sell you a shortcut. I got burned by those so you don't have to. I'm here to hand you the honest tools and show you how to use them, the same way I'd want someone to treat me.
That's the whole idea. Own your marketing. Do it right. Keep what you build.
